But yeah, rain of fire for high versatility (especially against fireflies - oh!), pandenomium for the light show.

I guess that doesn't count because it can be removed, unlike spells. He put Unstable Gas, though... Besides, water has Permafrost Shield, which is also very, very annoying.

Only one other person chose Plague? It's the only one that's guaranteed to kill everything at some point.
 Gotta admit, though, Pandemonium and Rain of Fire are great for when you need some immediate damage reduction.

One and even two Plagues don't kill growth creatures like Lava Golem and Forest Spirit.

Plague isn't as effective as I wished it would be.  Pandemonium is just fun not effective.  RoF does the most damage for a pretty low cost.

I like thunderstorm.  Cheap, effective and great in tandem with an eagle eye.
