"Mark of X" Cards

I've seen Mark of X cards during pvp.

1. How can you get them? Only via tourneys?
2. How do the admins of the tourneys award the mark of X cards?
3. When you play the Mark, can it be destroyed by explosion/pulverizer?
4. How many of each mark can you have?

You can only get them during tourneys.

Unupped, they work just like the false gods mark x 3.

Upped they work just like pillars.

The only real use for them is against seism or someone.

Only if they don't match your mark or are upgraded.

Hmm... it would be advantageous to NOT upgrade them then, huh.

When upgraded a mark acts like a tower. Since it is not identical to your mark, it doesn't stack on your mark.

Yes, and quake-able. It's in a stack of it's own though, so if you have two towers and one elite mark, you're less vulnerable to quakes than if you only had towers.

To answer the OP's questions:
1. At the moment at least, you can only get one by winning a tournament.
2. They don't. The developer does.
3. If it doesn't match your mark (keep in mind that your mark is unupped), it goes in a stack of its own and can be exploded/pulverized/destroyed/quaked.
4. Marks have the same amount limits as other non-pillar cards, i.e. no more than 6 in your deck.

Reading through the topic I've realized that upgraded Mark Cards do not stack onto your mark. Shouldn't this be so?

If it's not, wouldn't this kind of be... demoting? instead of upgrading? In no significant way would upgrading the Mark Card as it is, make it better, it simply makes it weaker and more vulnerable. This is an issue that should be fixed in my honest opinion.

So what;s the difference between unupped and upped (do you get +1 when playing it?) Also when it's different to your mark can they be attacked by QS or EQ?
