Good work! having some new starter decks is good. Surely, Penduluns are a must.

I, however, liked the card pool idea. Maybe player could receive a starter deck alike these, with some off element cards, AND have some cards in his pools, but not "sinergy" pack, I would prefer something that slightly presents the element, with a spell, a creature, and possibly 2 Penduluns. Death, for example, could be Poison and Vulture, Fire could be Fire Spirit and Fire Bolt (or Deflag).

If noobs start playing with 60 cards of several elements, lol, they will soon discover it doesnt work

I don't necessarily think players should start with 70 cards, but I voted for card pools because it was the only option with no secondary element. I chose life when I started playing -- and I felt that the intended "you are an elemental" flavor (which has been used before as an argument against marks generating more than one kind of quantum (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,5636.0.html)) was ruined as soon as I saw that my "life elemental" was 20% fire. If the starter decks aren't going to be mono, they should at least be mostly the element that the player picks, and have equal amounts of the other 11 elements.

A 45-card starter might work, with the same 28 primary-element cards as now, 4 quantum pillars, a short sword and the 12 creatures the Oracle usually gives as pets. I can't find a list of the pets, though. I think it's dragonfly, devourer, spark, ash eater, graviton fire eater, photon, skeleton, lycanthrope, deja vu, gnome rider, rustler, chrysaora -- but I'm not very sure of some of those.

Those are the generic pets, not the ???s

To clarify, if you receive a pet, it can be:

- a known pet of the same element the card oracle picked, these are listed above.

- an unknown pet (showed as "??") that can be of any element (including the same element the card Oracle picked), and CAN be something powerfull, like a dragon or a nymph. Just got Blue (Air) Nymph as pet 2 days ago, it was awesome in my CCYB

I dont think getting the 11 pets of other elements is of any help, beyond getting some easy money when starting to play.
