Malignant Cell card in deck https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=20933.msg266996#msg266996

Hello everyone!

I wasn't sure where could I put this topic so I'll try here in general discussion.

Well, two days ago I played a PvP against a guy and, to my surprise, he played a malignant cell on first turn. No aflatoxin, but malignant cell card (I use pregocs so I could see it in his hand after winning a spin). I've been playing for few weeks now and I've never actually seen this card- except for that game. That guy claimed he got it from t50 spins. Is it possible to get that card somehow?

You arent SUPPOSE to be able to get it. It is mearly a bug that occurred. This allowed players to get that card from half bloods. The card is suppose to only be played by aflatoxin which poisons the creature, and then once it dies, it turns into that cell. I believe with the next patch, zanz is fixing this.

There are reported cases of this happenning, and some people have seen them on spins, but they shouldn't be winnable. It is a bug, to say the least (or a very good hack).

It's a bug, I guess... Maybe it's a random Reward Zanz added to the game just for lolz. I don't mind if this makes Fractal Malignant Cells a common deck, but I guess if that happens, Zanz would actually do something. If not, why bother?

zanz confirmed in chat that there was no way anyone should be able to get a Malignant Cell through any method besides Aflatoxin.  Anyone using this as a solitary card in their deck has either encountered a very rare bug or is using a dishonest method to obtain it.

Another malignant cell deck has been encountered...

It would seem that the party involved claims to have won it in a top50 game a long time ago.

Can the card be deleted from this accounts card library please, as the player in question claims to be unable to delete/sell/upgrade the cell.

Many thanks

What makes this even weirder is that you encountered this opponent after Zanz had supposedly fixed the bug. All Malignant Cells are replaced by Relics in spins now so it should have been impossible for him to obtain them.

Didn't somebody get it from an AI5 AI4 before that was fixed, and the there was a farm for the cells that week? He only had one, and I think the story might be possible if someone got really lucky. Unless Zanzarino updated their cards lists afterwards?

Yes, a Top50 had their account reset due to uploading a deck with this in it.

In trainer, unupped/upped Malignant Cell turns into Relic. There is no way you can get Malignant Cell, besides hacking.

Random fact: Killing an Upped Malignant Cell will spawn an Unupped Malignant Cell.
