Kongregate badge of the day

On Sunday, Elements will be the badge of the day on Kongregate.  This may well mean an influx of players.  Should we plan a welcoming of some sort?

Best way to welcome is to advertise forums on Kong chat. Other stuff... IMO not needed.

Most people who come in for the badge of the day will get it and then bail out. From this side, the influx of players should be small. The max we'll get is a higher amount of guests visiting tutorials. I highly doubt we'll receive long-time players.

Badges of the Day are for Achievement Hunters anyway.

Social network organiser.... yeah, advertise forums on kong. Say about tourneys and especially about the upcoming war. That might attract people to join the forums Although unlikely.

Shame it's only the AI0 badge which takes about a minute to earn. An occasional forum mention in the chat couldn't hurt though, I suppose. Some might stick around long enough to see it.

There will most certainly be more players than usual. Even if 99% of the players only come for the badge, if 1% of them decide they think this is a pretty cool game and want to stick around, it will be a pretty decent number of new players. Someone needs to make a newbie tutorial or something, if we don't already have a good one, and post it on the kong forums.

It may not grab a ton of people, but having some people ready for new players in Kong chat and here would be advantageous to grabbing some folks.

Well even if we only get another 20 players, that's still a decent amount, and that means that at least 200 people saw this game, most likely more will view this since there's a badge for it.

I use to be a Kong achievement hunter, but quit a year or two ago. I liked quite a few of the games, so maybe there are more people out there like me...
