Sorry for not posting for so long. I had finals and I put testing the Unpped Shrieker for the ttw study first. I can concentrate on this now though.

Results with Unupped Vampire Stiletto:
Code: [Select]
5ur 5ur 5ur 5ur 5ur 5ur 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4
Total games played: 20

ttw unopposed = 7.45

ttw opposed = 8.05

4 - 0
5 - 0
6 - 0
7 - 6
8 - 7
9 - 7
10 - 0
11 - 0
12 - 0

Stall rating: 1.08

Notes: Unupped Vampire Stiletto was, surprisingly, more effective than I gave it credit for; I often found myself with six creatures out, having attacked, and the AI was left with 4 - 10 HP, making me have to take another entire turn to take it down. On the other hand, it made little difference whether we had good or bad luck: Once the AI took 3 turns to get the VS out and I still ended up with a 7 turn win; another time it took me till turn 4 to get my first creature out and I ended up with a 9 turn win.

I still don't get it about why do you need 24 pillars while your objective is just to cast a single weapon (you can't play 6 of them in the same time, right?). With that amount of pillars, isn't Drain Life far more effective?
My idealized elements cycle:
Water -> Fire -> Air -> Earth -> Lightning -> Metal -> Light -> Darkness -> Wood -> Water

If you read through the first post you'll understand the purpose of this study, and why we make the AI3 use such unplayable decks. Ratcharmer hasn't listed Drain Life as one of the tested cards, but with the healing it poses I'm willing to test that as well and see what we get.

Anyway, here are the results with Vampire Dagger:

Code: [Select]
7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t4 7tb 7tb 7tb 7tb 7tb 7tb
Total games played: 20

ttw unopposed = 7.45

ttw opposed = 8.30

ttw4:0
ttw5:0
ttw6:0
ttw7:3
ttw8:10
ttw9:5
ttw10:2
ttw11:0
ttw12:0

Stall rating: 1.11

Notes: 7 turn wins were from when the AI either drew the Vampire Dagger late (~Turn 4 and later) or not at all (surprisingly happened twice). Similarly, 10 turn wins were from when I drew creatures late. Didn't seem to be much of a difference between Upped and Unupped -- usually delayed it by one turn as well. However, I was surprised by the fact that the stall rating was lower for Vampire Dagger, which healed 6, when compared to Druidic Staff, which healed 5. There was only a .006 difference between the two though, so this may be due to not enough trials.

Sorry for not posting. Almost done with shield testing. Only have to test some stacking stall cards after testing Dusk Mantle.
