I changed the poll so that people see the results after they have voted. I also removed the possibility of changing your vote (that was a pretty weird combination imo).

Not showing the results is just silly. People naturally want to see the results after they have voted and there's absolutely no good reason not to show them the results. We are not voting for the president here.

Heh, good to see that at least every element has a vote.  Wish there was weighted votes, though.

How do you know they weren't askew?

You don't do statistics in a way that you first decide what the poll should say, and then say it's askew then the results were not what you expected.

Actually your old system was worse because you had enabled people to change their vote. This means that anyone, after reading the comments, could change their vote closer to popular opinion.

The way it's setup now is perfect because it shows the results only after you've voted BUT you cannot change the vote later.

I'd dispute that because within a group when one of the group is exposed to a statistical result and is the first exposed to that result he will will tend his group towards that vote. Its why when a testimony is gathered only the first of the group can be counted as witness as the rest are askew on the situation by what has been communicated to them from the first.

It matters not that you can change your vote after the fact if you haven't seen the results because we are looking for personal opinion and that variance will exist in a group anyhow, its just that people tend not to vote until they have discussed it in their circle. If shown the results of the whole group they will be varianced by the whole group, not just the circle they asociate with.

Now that you have shown the results any future vote will have evidence of comments like "look Time has x votes"  Or "come george vote for Time because Darkness is catching up".

I've done several studies in Statistics so I know what I wanted when I posted the poll. I don't agree with you changing it on me, but I'm not going to fret or rage over it.
