Here is what I've pieced together using my secret informants and some back channel deals. In 2010, kevkev60614 the former Fire Master, takes over as a Warmaster and quickly institutes a new rule that "Masters unable to general War are allowed to pick their own replacement". Later (and not without controversy) he is voted Favourite Staff Member of 2011 for Warmastering. However shortly thereafter under shadowy and mysterious conditions kev steps down as Warmaster and Jenkar is appointed in his place.
Meanwhile in the Trials, Jenkar beats justaburd to retain the Air title under suspicious circumstances. A video of what really happened in this match is rumoured but never seen. In the Entropy Trials kev purposefully throws the match as a ruse, when all along the plan was for him to be appointed Air General without actually having to win the Air Trials.
The conclusion is clear, at some point kevkev60614 was abducted and replaced with a clone named kev for the purpose of winning War 6 for Team Air. I'm sure War 6 will feature a heavy dose of pro Air event cards and pro Air rulings from the Air Master/Warmaster. It's obvious Helston and bjessee were chosen as Warmasters because they wouldn't get in the way, what kind of threats and blackmail are keeping them from exposing the truth? The "Ruled by Air" forum banner is already made and waiting in the wings. All of these auctions and War matches are just for show.. the fix is in, they've had it planned like this from the very beginning.
Who knows how deep this treachery lies. I'm sure it's somehow all tied up with the forum move and the many players locked away in SG's basement, I just haven't found the proof.
