Do you think we will all be here if it wasn't worthy ? And your behaviour isn't adapted to the answer the community had. Just look at their answer :every one is trying to help you and you keep trolling.

I'll not say more because that's a good idea I think.

You seem very stubborn in disliking this...

Why are you even here if you dislike it?

Yeah the way this game is set up it really encourages horrible repetitive grinding, which imo is bad gameplay. But a lot of people like to grind. People like to be rewarded for easy trivial tasks, that's why games like Farmville are so popular.

But you don't have to grind if you don't want to. I don't. I just play for fun, trying out decks, making my own variations of classic archetypes, basically just playing. I'm not as rich and I don't have as many rares as most, but none of my time with this game was spent trying to get to the fun, I was playing for fun the whole time.

It's a card game, I'm supposed to be playing other players, like in Magic, or Yu-gi-oh, or even Battle Spirits (fun game) but I can't do that because I have a card disadvantage, and DM1321 brought up Elemental mastery in the first place, also treating me like I'm some kind of idiot. I point out that the above is also the precise reason why I can't get Elemental Mastery and you point out it isn't the point of the game. Well duh, would you like to state something else blisteringly obvious. Like the sum of 1 and 1? Or the color of the sky? Or maybe, just maybe you could stop treating me like an idiot.
Sure, I'd like to state something else blistering obvious that you don't know.

You can't make a game that has all cards acessable from the start and that makes it 100% easy for you to go ahead and PVP everyone just trying to get a better deck than most. Said game would get incredibly boring. So here in Elements, we WORK for it. By.. playing bots! Now there's something blisteringly obvious you didn't know. Or at least I suppose you didn't know, but you should if you even read my FIRST post! Or any post in fact! Please go over and read some good posts, such as Ddevans, ElementalDearWatson (With two good links, though I prefer the second), most of ZBlader's posts (Check out Deckbuilding 101), and a few others.

I could say other stuff that you don't know as well, but I don't think here is the place -or the time- to discuss over that.

Oh, and if you're wondering, 1+1=2. Just saying.  :P

No I'm not stupid. I know how the game plays but do to having a card disadvantage on all my opponents is pretty shit game design for a card game. That same card disadvantage makes the Elemental mastery impossible to get.
Elemental Mastery is just a boost. I never told you you couldn't. And no, it's not impossible. All of AI3 games are easily won with a cheap deck. Check Deckbuilding 101 or the other links, as I have said.

Except I won't be winning against players 500+ games, or at least not enough to make a profit (assuming 120 a win, I have to win 1 in seven matches to break even... that's not been the experience). And you bring up another issue of card economy, I won't have the cards to build any of those decks, so reliably winning against level 3 opponents just won't happen. So the best use of my time is simply not playing the game and waiting for dayroll and snatching up the oracles drop every day.

That's what pisses me off. Not playing the game is the most effective use of my time. The hell?
Yes, you will. Any AI3 farmer (Which is a deck that can beat AI3 regularly) can win PVP regularly. Anyhow, PVP is not even the best form of electrum early on - The best form is AI3. Again, Deckbuilding 101. Seriously, I tried it these days and started with Darkness. Very simply, I just sold the darkness cards and made a great Life Rush, and farmed AI3. Simple as that.

Instead of waiting for oracle, be smart, accept the advice given and farm. This is a community. We're giving you help and you're denying it. If you choose to be alone in the game it's not our fault.

No I'm expecting an even reward, which I'm not getting, as the slots are worthless, and being able to reliably beat an the apparently worthwhile AI opponent takes cards I don't have and can't get without extensive grinding. So again, the best use of my time is not playing.
AI3. Slots give you cards. Sell your current cards and buy others in bazaar. Follow Deckbuilding 101. Lololololol.

And this post is a lot more rude than the last one. On the other hand, you're also being rude.

Zeful, and in general the community: Their seems to be a lot of defensiveness going on in this thread :(

Zeful, the community is not talking down to you, it's the same advice they give to themselves,  it might seem that way; because some of them are quite young and it was a wonderful exciting thing for them to figure out what was probably very simplistic thing for you.

On the flip side, community, no need to let Zeful's reaction cause you to be defensive, he is approaching this topic in a different aspect then most and so the standard advice is not needed.

As a former developer, I'll approach this in the manner that I think Zeful is thinking.

From a development standpoint, I would consider this game's development method as likely an agile process, free version micro content, ccg game.  I would say the game would be a beta in the way google uses beta.  Most of the elements are said to be considered incomplete.  The developer has only recently started storyline like themes.  (Right now is the Shard War)  Many of the coolest things about this game aren't even directly integrated or obvious.  Unlikely many of these games, this one is FREE!  This is why the development seems off to you. Typically in a ccg, be them online or actual in hand cards, the card advantage exists in those who could drop the most money into the game.  Since elements is free, then you pay in the form of time.  Instead of spending a large sum of money on magic cards, you spend 80 hours or so on the grind.  It's up to you if your time is worth it and if you are asking is this game worth playing then it probably is not.

If you want to knit-pick individual problems or found something difficult and react so defensively at the community trying to help you, then at this point your just trolling.

Either way, I don't recommend elements for you.
