I dont know if this is a glitch or not. But the way i read the card... "Immortal can not be targeted"
It sounds as though any spell card that specificly targets a card, cannot be used on it.
Rain of fire does NOT target cards, it applies to ALL enemy creatures on the field.
So why is it these do not hit immortals?
Also this leads me to assume that other cards such as pandemoniom would not work on this card.
am i wrong in screaming WTF at my computer when this caused me to lose a PvP?

again i scream WTF I DIDNT F******g target it.

Rain of Fire and Pandemonium do target creatures, just one at a time. Unstable Gas and Thunderstorm do not specifically target every creature, but it still doesn't work on invulnerable (the status when Quinted) creatures.

You can tell that the former two do target individually by playing a Vulture deck. Before the next Vulture in line is hit, it grows from the last one's death. This can let them outgrow 3 damage and survive.

It could be interpreted the way you described, but this is just the way the creator chose to make it. It's not going to change. There are several effects in this game that are similar in that they could make sense one way or another, but the way it is is just the way it is. You can only kill immortals with shields (thorn carapace, fire buckler). Ice shield can freeze them as well.

They defin8ly need to nerf this card(IMO), so that unspecific targeting hits them. Otherwise its just too OP. If the only way to kill them is with shields.. thats like wtf.
So im assuming plague doesnt hit them aswell?

Just wondering also how come devour on a skeleton doesnt produce another skeleton? Is it because skeletons are Tier 1?

For 1 Gravity Quanta every turn, to get +1|+1 and a death effect? No thanks.

Nothing can kill Immortal creatures except Shields.

Quint is powerful, but not OP. See, if you use Quintessence, you need to spend a card space on that. That means the creature you're gonna quint better be worth it. Most popular choices are creatures that can grow damage, such as Firefly Queen, Lava Destroyer and Spirits.

The Immaterial creatures Immortal and Phase Dragon have no useful skills, and so they only do damage. Would you quint a Dragon solely for 8 damage? I wouldn't. I would pack another Dragon before a Quint. So, Phase Dragon simply lets you save that card space if you want that.

This means you have to be able to stall a bit, because Immaterial creatures are a -lot- slower than normal ones. If you can't stall, you'll get rushed.

There is always something powerful but think these impossible to hit creatures are expensive... the dragon costs 13 for 8 damage

i don't call immortals OP, they cost a lot and give only a few damage.
they can be easily outrushed because low damage/high cost.

Every deck has its weaknesses.

Permanent control and creatures with Momentum laugh at Dimensional Shield, as they can just destroy it or bypass them altogether. Immaterial creatures are still vulnerable to effects from shields (damage reduction and additional effects like the freeze chance on Ice Shield and infection chance from Thorn Shield), and they're much more expensive than the average creature of their size.

Also, since mono-Aether's cards require large amounts of quanta, it's prone to getting outrushed in the early stages of the game.
