My vote is for more cards.

I understand why a statistics tool would be useful, but ultimately it would take development time away from things which are more directly related to improving the game itself. We haven't had an update for a while, and there's plenty that can still be done to improve the game.

I believe that it's not so much important that the game produces statistics itself, but that it makes the job of keeping those statistics easier. I think an acceptable compromise (which would itself have its own merits) would be to have the game output a string which fully describes every aspect of the previous game - essentially, the game would keep a record of what happened during it, and then would output this at the end. This could relatively easily be adapted into some sort of external statistics tracker. Incidentally, it could also help desynch issues, as it could be used to allow better coordination between clients.

I'm a stat freak. The more stats, the more happy I am. But I collect important stats to me anyway, so I'd at least like to see card counter.
IE. In manage your deck, I'd like to see count of total cards, count of upgraded cards, and count of each by element (when you filter by element). I believe this should be an easy, not very time consuming addition, that would be a big help to us who like to monitor our progress. Manually counting those every now and then is a huge chore.

I'd imagine that all "per deck" stats would require different approach of importing decks, or would require resetting, like what Beef wrote.
- TTW is a measure that says something only if you're winning like 90+% of the matches, which means its useful only against low level of AI, so I wouldnt put it as priority.
- Win rate per deck is definitely useful, and something people are already keeping stats from (if they care about it). EM rate included.
- Average time per game, while useful, its impossible to measure as you can stop in the middle of the game and finish it an hour later. Happens to me all the time :)
- Electrum won and lost per deck would definitely be helpful.

But yeah, I'm also more for further development of the game/cards etc.

I voted for the second option.  I know there's a long to-do list and I don't think a statistics tool belongs at the top.

zanz, if you're reading this, please consider fixing spectate.  It's almost completely useless as is and if it were functioning properly it'd add a lot of fun to the pvp experience.

I've done stats in the past and, though stat tools are nice, I am all for new cards and game development as the main priority.

I honestly feel any addition to the game should apply equally, or be meant to, to everyone who plays on the whole. That can be said for a stat tool, but I think it's safe to say most people that would want a stat tool ingame are those that are uber dedicated anyway and find ways to run stats. Not everyone would benefit from a stat tool, but everyone would definitely benefit from new cards and game fixes. Cards, desyncs and spectate fixed first then maybe look at a stat tool when time permits.

I would like to have one, which could track of:

Win percentage against each AI level
Winrates against EACH FG
Turns to win

And also more in general:
How much a certain card is played (overall) (already said by someone)

Will add more when I think of them

Bigger question is:  does this mean you're in contact with Zans?

I chose more cards.

But if said statistics tool also offered game logs, I'd trade my vote in a second. Logs tell you what happens for desyncs and can be filtered for stats manually by users. Logs are more important than cards, but cards more important than stats tools.
