I believe the value is an int so 4294967295 if unsigned, Which would be appropriate since your not going to have negative cash.

32bit? How 1980. Also when writing serious code you should never use unsigned data types for that extra bit. It's not worth the trouble.

Aside from that flash/actionscript/ecmascript is loosely typed, I believe numbers are automatically converted to exponential display when they got beyond certain borders. Acording to http://www.adobe.com/support/flash/action_scripts/actionscript_dictionary/actionscript_dictionary598.html the limit would then be approximately 1.7976931348623158e+308. Question is if the Database backing your "savestate" can also handle that number.
