I know this might be a noobish question, but how do i get one of these as my avatar if i can?

Right click the image you want, click Copy image URL, paste in the box for your avatar when you edit your profile.

Alternatively, you could right click on the pick and click copy, then open up paint and save it to your computer. Then, go to imageshack or any online image hosting site, and upload it there. It will give you a link you can put in that field in the options.

Hmm. It still doesnt show up, but when I click to open the pic in a new tab that works. Which url did you use from imageshack? Generally I use the one that says something like direct link to image, and that works.

Another alternative is to just click and drag the image up to the URL spot on the top of your browser. At least, that works for firefox.
