Zanzarino when did you come up with this game?
April 2009, while preparing a final project for "Interactive Media Design"

How did you come up with the idea?
I was reading the development blog of Aion online (a MMORPG). http://na.aiononline.com/ (http://na.aiononline.com/)
I was quite impressed with the graphics but very disappointed to see another unimaginative "priest, archer, warrior, mage" game; I wished game designers had more originality and came out with a more diverse set of characters. I thought about the 4 classical elements: "What if they would rewrite that philosophical theory about the elements adding some modern knowledge to it?". That day I wrote down on a notebook a diagram with the 12 elements.

What is your fave element? why?
I try my best not to have one. But I think entropy is more fun to play.

Will you come out with more games?
I had an idea for a game before I wrote Elements, maybe one day I'll do it, not right now, I do not have enough time.
In that game you play the part of yourself. An alien AI crashed on a "far away" planet and  the alien that controlled it died in the crash. Your goal is to help the AI to build a new civilization based on drones. Drones can be built using genes (pieces of DNA) that you can find on the planet, each drone you build have a different set of skills, some of them gather resources, some of them fight, others can turn themselves into new buildings... etc.

When will the next update be?
I have no idea, but Godaddy does, you can send them an email and ask.

Which element in your opinion is the strongest?
You do not want to me to think too much about this question, it might start a "nerf" rampage

Which element needs the most buff?
Air/Water and Light might need - and are getting - a little buff

Will you ever make elements an RPG?
I'd like to, but an RPG requires a team to work with.

What is your opinion about WoE?
War of Emperium? ... nvm ... Adding a map to element and creating a "World of Element" is something I wanted to do for a long time, it just takes some time to do it right.

Can u please make ai5 have 30% upgraded?

Awesome.  I love these tidbits about zanz and how/why he started elements.  Thanks again for making such an awesome game and helping me waste countless hours.  It's been a fun ride.  :P

Chriskang confirmed that it is impossible to code something with dual cost. The game will have to be completely recoded.
To be or not to be, I can do both at once. Go learn quantum mechanics, n00b.

1) the workload will only be more and more, so will you try forming a team to work with?

2) as I think a good card game should have a very large card pool, buying the random packs to see what you get every time is one of the greatest fun.
however the existing number of cards is too low to support it.
so will you assign a team for real card creation in game, but not only to submit idea?

Did you guys ever consider that WE are his team? Our card ideas, our suggestions, the mods, SG the admin, all of us make things easier for Zanz. We help fix bugs. We help add cards/mechanics. WE as a community make this game great, and with Zanz, our community shall rule flawlessly :)

We don't make things any easier for zanz, unless you're doing the actual debugging, coding and testing. What you said actually suggests quite the opposite, that we discover/create work for him to do.

Our community shall rule flawlessly?! That's one of the most off statements I've seen with regards to Elements  ::)
