Title: In-Game Maximums
Post by: Commandaguy on October 09, 2012, 12:37:54 am
So obviously elements has certain hardcaps on values in the game. Quanta values are capped at 75, I've heard your hp is capped somewhere before the max you could reach with stone skins and shard, although I haven't tested that yet. I was wondering if the game has any built-in limits on things such as creature attack/defense, and card count in your deck, and if anyone has tested these limits before, because I would like to know the limits on those things just for fun and was planning on testing them with a friend if I can't find the answer here.

Creature attack/hp is capped at 499 iirc. Same with hp. I don't think bonewalls have a counter.

Ok. What about deck card #? (Amount of cards in deck at any point in the game, not just the start)

Is it..? I tried in the past with trainer, with custom AI3 with Gravity Shield, anti-deckout / Me using Steam machines - Anti deckout deck.
And chimera, I got 2000+ ATK creature. lol
Is the attack capped added to the game later?

That's the highest you can get it with regular buff cards/chimera, iirc, though I do know that PU-Blitzing Wyrms lets you get it ~5000 I think

EDIT: Ninja.

You can start with 60 (120) cards, but if you have say, a field of 22 malignant cells, a flying eternity, an eternity in your hand, and 6 :time towers, (and your opponent has a shield and sancts or hp restorer), you could keep rewinding 2 cells per turn to add more cards to your deck. I do not know if there is a cap for deck size.

Yeah, you can get it higher than 500, but it'll just reset to that value afterwards.

HP is capped at 500, mostly to prevent stoneskin abuse.

I have no idea if you can fill your deck to make it larger than 60 cards via eternities and token creatures, but it might be fun to try :p  I've seen bonewalls with over 100 counters, and the biggest creature I can recall seeing was a chimera at around 250 att/def.  I've also seen over 150 poison counters, so I don't think that has a cap either, or at least not a practical one.

Very nice! My plan was Pharoahs and Eternities, but having an AI do a lot of the spawning probably would speed that up a lot (I was in the process of trying to conscript a friend to help me out).

Watch, deck size is 999 or something.  We're just too lazy to do that...

Maybe have the AI have an Eternity deck too, so it uses it to keep itself alive too...

AI will only rewind itself if it is low on cards. What choongmyoung is planning to do is to use his own eternity to constantly bounce his RoL while using the other 11 to RT opponent cells, giving the opponent 11 cards into their deck each turn.

At some point the array's going to exhaust and crash the game...

I understand that.  But isn't there a point where the AI will draw enough it'll be close to decking out?

When the deck size reaches 5. He will not deckout but nor let his deck size "grows".

But if he has drawing power [Electrum Hourglass], it can and will use it to make finding deck cap faster.

...???
I'm trying to find the "maximum" cap, the biggest deck size.
I need not [Electrum Hourglass] but [Anti - Electrum Hourglass] which [Anti - draws], that is, reverse time.

Did you lose to integer overflow?

Or did you deck yourself by accident?

Or did you quit?

Just deckout. I think the deck size will be approximately INTEGER.MAX_VALUE.
