Hm thats an interesting idea. It could be basically the same as nova, except you get x additional fire quanta, with x being the cost of the creature you sacrifice. Though admittedly that'd be a pretty weak card... It could maybe work with Phoenix's though since you'd get 8 total fire, and be able to revive it still for 1 fire (you'd need towers though to start. So no towerless fire rushes).

Immolation maybe should give quanta according to the creature that is sacrificed?
And, supernova gives 24.
Good idea

Wouldnt it destroy the idea of sacrificing weak creatuers?
If you just make it stronger for stronger creature it will even get stronger at all. So I think you want to weaken it for smaller creatures like RoL, but then the card itself will become really UP... Why should you sacrifice "stronger" creatures just to be able to play a further creature, spell or perm?

About Immolation itself just read this again:
While yes it is powerful, it is also very prone to bad starts so it kind of balances out imo. If they get a great starting hand then yes they can play a destroyer first turn, but they have to get a photon, a cremation, and a destroyer in starting hand for that to happen. And even then its easy to kill if you have any creature control i your hand.
Get rid of the creatures that your opponent played with the "immolationquanta" in the first turn and he is done.
