Hi guys,

Been playing almost 2 weeks now figured its was time for introductions and my first post.

I came across elements and started an air deck at random. After a few hours of playing I started reading the wiki and the forum and decided to start a new account with darkness this time.

I bought 10 life towers and started running a life rush deck on t50. I lost a lot of matches but with some patience managed to aquire and upgrade a few SoG's.

For a few days I just explored new colors and built up enough cards to play 3 or 4 mono color decks for variety.

After just a few hours and many losses now my deck is passing 15 upped cards and should be able to finish the deck within a day or two.

Wow. Are you sure you're new? That's pretty good for a new player. I congratulate you...On your nymph. 

But seriously, good job. You should try farming t-50 and try to get some Pharaohs and Eternities. I have 6 of each for my time awesomeness.

note: i find RoL/ Hope is more consistent with only one SoG, and not 2.

Welcome CarbonBit, I have a feeling you will be a great player. I encourage you to finish your Rol/Hope, make an upgraded t50 farmer and visit the elements chat from time to time. Veteran players usually put farm decks (18 pillars, 6 rare, 6 rare), so you can request any rare you need.
After that you will be able to make any non-upgraded deck you can desire and ou can have fun with the non-upgraded pvp events. Those are probably the greatest part of the game, especially that some of them offer in-game prizes!
Anyway, good luck and have fun.

Another advice. Remove 4 aether pillars and add 4 aether pendulums to your deck. This trick will not change your strategy at all but your quanta sources will be put in 2 separate stacks. It will give you slight protection versus the Earthquake card.

The reason why there are no pendulums in the forum versions is because Rol/Hope decks appeared before the pendulums.

agreed, the only reason i only have one pendulum is because when pendulums came out i already had all but one of my pillars upped.

In complete honesty within 2 days of starting I had 500/50 winloss on ai3 with the black deck and spent every single last electrum on upgraded pillars for the deck. I've wasted some money coverting those cards into life towers and then RoL's but the 2k~ electrums worth of value I have lost between swaps seems acceptable to me.

Also I've sold scads of rare weapons from the ai3. I'm only keeping 4 copys of each right now so i've sold of maybe 10-15 rare cards as well.

Yeah I've got 4 of each of those so far. Will prolly do a time deck at some point for the fun. But seriously, besides certain rares like shards I don't see the point much in grinding t50. I've gotten most/all of my rares from ai3 farming.
