I want to know the true ability of a jade shield

Ok, sorry if this has been asked asked, but I was curious why jade shield does not reflect poison or black hole when cast as a spell against me as a target.  I thought that shields that reflect spells(esp. when you try to heal yourself, it bounces off your shield and heals your opponent)  against you should reflect poison, heal, black hole, holy light, siphon life, etc......At least that is the way I understand the card; when it comes from a creature, but not from a spell that makes it an ability, so could somebody please help clarify

It reflects DAMAGE, from spells, and healing counts as negative damage.
Poison also does not count a a damage spell, as it does no direct damage.

Yeah, the wording is not accurate and the ability is inconsistent.  Maybe that will be fixed in the future.
But the spells that are reflected are:

Fire Bolt/Fire Lance, Ice Bolt/Ice Lance, Holy Light/Holy Flash, Unstable Gas, Drain Life/Siphon Life, and Lightning/Thunderbolt.

Just tested to make sure.  Neither of those spells are reflected by Jade Shield.

Well, the AI often reflects them at me...
Should I clarify?
They are reflected if YOU have the Jade or Mirror shield.

Whoa.  Holy Light/Flash no longer reflects.  When did that change?  Stealth patch?

Poison can't reflects because its rubbish if you have like 30 poison damage and jade shield  reflected it, that will be stupid.

Thanks for clarifying.  I just think the wording of the card should be modified somewhat because all it says now is that spells are reflected against your opponent, so I guess it took it literally as in all spells should be reflected, not just one time only spells like drain life or fire lance.

Also if it reflected poison it would make puffer fish and arsenic that much weaker as well.
