I have a new respect for t50

I use to hate t50. I never did it unless I was farming rare cards, and that was a pain since you never knew who had farms (despite the communities best efforts to keep people up to date). Now, t50 is the main thing I do. Why? because, im not farming rares. I now like t50 a whole lot more because
1)I cant stand the slowness of pvp
2)I cant stand how mindless it is to grind ai3
3)I occasionally get instawins due to farms.
4)I Get a LOT more EM's
5)I get a LOT more cards

Now I will actually miss t50 when it leaves instead of just thinking "meh, who cares"

Jep, as a deck-design- and fastplay vs upped cards -area, T50 can be fun.

I am positive that T500 will be a blast though. :-)

I've actually found those same reasons BP.  My personal deck can beat most, only having truly fast speedbows beating me out.  Almost any other rainbow I can outrush, and it certainly exposes me to a ton of decks.

SAme for the path month i have grown to love it. I make like half of FG money and a good bit of score. Plus it helps me make new pvp decks.

Agreed on all counts.  I play more Top50 than anything else.  I am looking forward to Top500, to be sure, but I will miss Top50 a lot.  Wish we could have both.

unfortunately t500 is created to replace t50 because zanz doesnt want those rare to be not-so-rare-anymore (among other things)
actual convo can be found in a thread by GG somewhere but farm decks arent endorsed by zanz

well here ya go, this is him DOING something about it (apart from elders a.k.a. AI3 having more rares in their deck)

so enjoy grinding for rares while you can and for the haters, you'll get what you wish for soon-ish

Like everyone else, I'm going to seriously miss T50 for all the above reasons. However, if there are others who want to keep T50, its about time we look at this (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,18508.0.html).

Practising PvP could be done in T500 just as well, and farming to a certain degree.

The only thing that stands in the way is that in T500 you will HAVE TO use certain 6 cards in a deck, right?

The details about T500 are still up in the air. We only got a slight insight to what Zanz was proposing. Anything could change. But the main point for T500 is for people to build very creative and good decks and have lots of people be able to play against them, and not just limited to people who are in T50. Everyone will get a chance to be in T500, possibly everyday.

So T500 will give you all the great play against well made decks. The weaker decks will get expelled over time and only the really good ones that are fun and challenging to play against will stay.

But Zanz isn't just doing this to get rid of rare farms, that's just one of the benefits to T500. And we don't even know if T50 will be replaced, and T500 will be an addition, since Zanz can do anything from now and when it comes out. But it is most likely it will just replace T50.
