Hypothetical Fractal Win https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=4749.msg46718#msg46718

Recently with fractal coming out, people have been trying to find the best thing to copy. I think the best thing to copy would have to be a mutant graboid, with unburrow. There is no other way to get a graboid that is targetable besides mutating a creature into one with burrow. It might take a while to find, but once you do, you have the ultimate shrieker spam.

Just thought I'd throw it out there (if any hardworking player wanted to post some screen shots, that would be cool, but I doubt it will happen.)

They do, it happens. You /can/ get a mutant graboid to unburrow and be targetable, it's just difficult.
I ask nothing of humanity but fairness in all things, but I do not expect even that.

Don't know if I understand what you're saying correctly but... using Fractal on mutants is useless.  It doesn't work like Twin Universe.  If you Fractal a creature with a weird skill and high stats, all you'll get are normal copies of the creature whose art and name is used.  If you Fractal a mutant Graboid all you'll get are normal Graboids.

Well, good, because that's the point.
Graboids are never targetable unless you mutate something in a Graboid with Burrow instead of Evolve. Then you unburrow it and use Fractal to get a massive amount of Shiriekers.

Sorry about that. The whole point of fractaling the mutant is to get a full hand of regular graboids, which is unachieveable unless the graboid is un-burrowed, which isn't normal.  Everyone knows that graboids have a cheap cost (good for fractal) and do a s*** load of damage (good for fractal) they also don't use aether quanta (good for fractal).

Usually if you are trying to mutate a bunch of creatures to find a graboid mutant with burrow, it's going to use a rainbow anyways.

Why not just fractal a ruby dragon using a fire deck with mark of aether instead? wouldnt that be mroe effective, and easier to pull off? Rainbow decks would have just as much quanta for graboids as a mono deck would for Dragons.

I'm surprised I haven't seen ideas on Scarab Fractal-ing. I've tried it out in the trainer, and it works quite effectively. However, it does mean you need to make a trio deck: Time, Aether, Gravity, so maybe that's why.
