I never said it was difficult to use drop down menus, silly girl. I said it's easier in hypercam. In camstudio you sometimes have to go from menu, to sub-menu, to another sub-menu to change things. And if you want to change things in the same sub-menu, you have to do it all over again once you select your first option. In hypercam, it's a lot faster.
Just to make sure you understand: In my opinion hypercam is easier/faster to use.
Oh, perhaps I was doing it wrong, but the hot keys wouldn't work in camstudio while I was on another window... never had that problem with hypercam...
Anyway, it's pointless to argue over something so trivial. I hope you understand what I said now.
Read what you said. You implied that CamStudio is not "noob friendly". Any sane person would interpret that as CamStudio being "difficult to use" which is simply not true.
Clapping hands is easier than snapping fingers but I wouldn't call either of them difficult. Like I said, CamStudio uses the same exact menu system that most software uses, so that does not make it difficult to use. The fact that Hypercam is 1% easier to use (for
you if I may add) has no relevance what so ever.
You need two buttons to operate CamStudio. Anyone not capable of doing so has no business producing videos anyway, and should go live in a tree throwing feces on passer-byes.
The reason I corrected you was that the point of this thread is to show how
EASY it is to record your own video using CamStudio, and spreading lies about how it's not "noob friendly" serves no purpose.
If you want to have a serious discussion about which software is better, it's things like
video quality that we should look at. Talking about easy-of-use is silly when both software can be successfully used by a less than average intelligence monkey.
