I'm trying to figure out how exactly malignant cells work since I am considering adding it to my deck.

I have not found this explicated elsewhere.

Every turn, if at the END of the turn (after pressing the space bar) the malignant cell is alive and doesn't die (eg from poison) each of your/ your opponent's malignant cell creates a duplicate.

Works great with skull shield, Vultures(condors) and plague.

Stats don't carry through though, so buffing and quinting one cell won't give you a board full of buffed quinted cells, just the one and a bunch of plain boring ones.
