How About an iPhone App? https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=2205.msg17999#msg17999

Would any of you like to see Elements become an iPhone game?  Granted, free and on the big widescreen monitor on your PC is probably more to your liking but it would still be a good business idea for the Elements devs and could financially contribute to the game we all love.

There are 3 card battle games on the iPhone that I can find.  Soul Card Master, Orions and Urban Rivals.  All of them are decent games but are poorly marketed.

This would be no minor undertaking but there are so many crappy apps in the iTunes store that make millions.

It's a tight idea, but there's a pretty strict cost-benefit analysis that needs to be undertaken before anything like that gets underway.

Kudos for thinking outside the box, though. :)
If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.

I received about a dozen emails so far suggesting an iphone application, some people even volunteered to help me write the application. Great idea, possible huge success, etc. ...
However, I would describe fitting elements on an iphone screen as... pure hell.

I am not saying it will never happen, just - not now. There is still plenty of room for elements to grow as a browser game for pc/macs.

Also, keep in mind that droid just appeared on the market this year, I have no idea about how apps for droid are developed and how successful it is going to be. But that might be another possible platform.

Fair enough.  I'm happy with playing it on the PC.  I just thought I'd say something since it is such an untapped market.  But yeah, that was my first thought, getting it to fit on the screen would be rough.  Heck, my old eyes strain when I play in the smaller window on Kongregate even on a 22" widescreen lol.
