Have a question about Otyugh's Devour

I had a forest scorpion, has 1/2. Used Bless on it, raised it to 4/5, then used Adrenaline on it. Otyugh used devour and ate it, even though it says it only devours creatures with life less then 3. My scorpion had 5 so how did that happen? Otyugh's devour ability never specified that it was able to eat a creatures base life, and his creature wasnt upgraded, so what gives?

That would be a bug, but if you could provide a screenshot, it could be determined if something else was going on.

Did the opposite otyugh nommed anything before? If it did, it grows, and as such may have >5 HP, which caused it to nom the Blessed Scorp.

Did the oty have more than 5hp at the time? It could've gotten buffed or eaten other creatures to increase its stats.

devour works on a creature with less HP then the creature using devour, which is not the same as working on a creature with less then 3 HP, also, your scorpion could ve been damaged during the opponents turn and the otyugh could ve grown one way or another
