I do not have a PayPal account and I just paid for something online because the seller has a PayPal account already.  I have read a few posts that have said people are waiting to set up their PayPal account to make a donation and I don't think they need to.  Can you clarify this SG?
Yeah I actually updated the first post just now with some different options. I'll update it again if I find other options.

There is another thing like the ipad. It is called Wepad and was inventet by a german.
It is not in sale now, but it will maybe come soon.
There are two version one for 450Euro and one for 570Euro.
It has Flash USBports and a camera. It is like a better version of the Ipad.
Here is the link for the website:

Hmm.. looks pretty cool.

You can't really go wrong with German products. I always buy those if possible and they never disappoint.

Here's a comparison against iPAd: http://www.neofonie.de/files/product_specifications_WePad_1004012.pdf

Yup, german products are one of the best. they do not have those large factories where workers get a low pay, they put some love in it, ya know?

Actually there are lots of devices similar to the ipad announced but none that are worth mentioning are available yet.

Since I'm a PayPal master 8) , let me fill you in on one more easy way to get money into a PayPal account called MoneyPak.   MoneyPak is basically a prepaid debit card available all over the US (and possibly other countries, IDK).  You can get a MoneyPak at almost any Walmart,Walgreens, CVS Pharmacy, KMart, Kroger, Meijer, Ralph's, WinnDixie, or 7/11 in the USA.

Once you've loaded up your MoneyPak card, you can PM ScaredGirl with your MoneyPak number and the amount you wish to donate.  As long as it's less than $250, that's all you need to do.  I can't imagine anyone donating more than that, but if someone does, they'll have to give a bunch of personal info to MoneyPak, I think for tax reasons.

Then, ScaredGirl would go into her PayPal account, go to Add Funds (at the top of the page), and select "Add Funds From GreenDot MoneyPak", and put in your MoneyPak number and the amount you selected.  The cash then vanishes from the MoneyPak and appears in SG's PayPal account.

Now, the downside to all of this is that the MoneyPak costs $4.95 or so.  The upside is that, once you have it, you can basically use it like a (prepaid) debit card for the rest of your life with no additional costs.

So, there you go: anyone in the US can, in fact, donate.  :)

Oh, and we should start a fund for next year, too, and save up to buy Zanz a Sixth Sense (http://www.pranavmistry.com/projects/sixthsense/).  ;p
If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.

OPTION 4 - MYSTERY OPTION (NO PAYPAL, CREDIT CARD OR FRIENDS WITH CREDIT CARDS)
I don't know any other options to be honest, but I'm not very experienced in these things either. I only use PayPay myself. If someone knows a legal way of moving cash to a PayPal account without having a credit card, please let me know.

i tried to cash out from my pokerstars account, but i need a working paypal account, verifyed by a credit card (i dont have)
AND i havent found a way to get money from moneybookers (i use, you can use bank transfer for payment and i could cash out from pokeraccount) to someones paypal account.

anyone with ideas how it could work? or with a pokerstars account, i could transfer money from mine to him and then he will transfer money?

Thanks. I'll add this to my original post.

But before I do, one question: what stops me from picking any amount of money I want? I'm not going to do that of course but in case some people are worried about that. That's not possible, right?

What a great move between yesterday and today with the donations!  It was a little slow there for a few days, hopefully Friday is payday for a bunch of people and we will get another good bump.  Thanks again to SG for all of her work in finding alternate ways that people can make donations.

Another big donation last night. We can now officially afford PLAN C!

But lets keep those donations coming so we get the PLAN A (which is much cooler than PLAN C).

$300/$600

We are now officially at 50%!
