imagine a web developer being questioned about a game that the developer himself left dead since 2014
i can admit it now but there was an exploit with the oracle himself. By using a crappy browser or a slow computer there was a way to "manipulate" the element you will pick by simply counting the spins AFTER u clicked the button. Example: u knew your browser/pc would move 5 boxes after the click. U want to hunt for air nymph: click on gravity, 5 boxes after there is air.
Imagine hunting for a specific nymph how "easy" will be to get by excluding all the other 11 elements. That's why i had the most useful nymphs (
).
Looking at the nymph thread
https://elementscommunity.org/forum/general-discussion/elements-nymph-count/3732/i posted 43 times. And i logged "daily" from 2015 to maybe half 2019, i had a lot of nymphs and i discovered this "exploit" in 2017 for getting my first golden nymph.
https://elementscommunity.org/forum/general-discussion/elements-nymph-count/msg1295116/#msg1295116"manual was inactive most part of the year" and still got 6 nymphs. The trick worked maybe 60-70% of times: by clearing the pc cache, the spin would "reset" and set to a different number of spins. Some days i would even forget about counting the spins, some days i would missclick. So it wasn't an exploit that allowed to have 20 nymphs but totally a good way to get at least the
easily, which was the most useful for pvp, then
and so on.
No idea why nobody said it or if this rumour was shutted down and kept in the staff/council. Probably a way to get a staff position was keep the secret, seeing how much incompetence i assisted in the years. I can't believe i was the only to do it since it was so easy to figure out. It did not even started for nymphs, but simply not spinning crappy elements for submitting the arena deck.
Oracle snitches, telling all their business
Log in the forum and be their own star witness
"Do you see the hacker?" "Yeah, I'm right here"
Fuck around, get the whole council sent up for years, uhSo whatever issues u have with flashpoint, the "original" oracle was flawed and easy to manipulate. If u emulate it or use an offline version is a miracle it does not crash the entire game
