Once you have a speed mastery deck, there's really no going back to something else.

Quote
The speed deck's stats:
Game length: 1 minute
Games per hour: 60
Average profit: 5 (based on what I've experienced using the shrieker rush deck)
FYI when you win a game, you get back the initial wager in addition to the reward for winning.
Which is why I said "average profit" and not "average reward." If it were the latter, the amount would be 15.
Your reward IS your profit.

If I spend 10 electrum to grind an AI3, when I win (let's say 99 health), I get 29 electrum even though the reward says 19.

Didn't know that. I thought it takes the electrum from you, and your reward is added to what you had after the electrum was taken away from you.

It doesn't change the differences in the calculations though, it only changes how much they ended up being.

Of course it changes the calculations. The net gain per win should be 15, not 5.

Actually, it DOES change the differences in the favor of speed decks, which win more games and so get more of the coins you forgot to add.

Ya, my bad. I forgot that they play a different number of games in an hour. Just based off of that, speed decks get 1500 and mastery decks get 1000. That's not including the additions from slots.

Overall, speed decks are the way to go.

Whenever someone says mastery deck, I never got why they don't use SoDs. My SoD abuse deck gets masteries at 220 hp. (140 electrum per game.) 80 electrum per game isn't as good as 3 games of around 30 electrum.

Simple -- SoDs may mean +8 ep each if you get a Mastery, but if you slow your deck down by up to 6 turns because you wasted them drawing SoDs, it adversely affects both your chances of getting the Mastery in the first place and the speed with which you get the Masteries in the first place.

If you use SoDs or Stone skin to increase your health, do you get more money for a mastery?

Ayup.  In fact, there was a deck posted a few weeks ago that consistently got 140+ ep from Mastering an AI3 (by winning with 520 HP at the end of the game) -- but it took so long that it was faster to play 10 normal games. :)
