Just uploaded the whole elements directory on my computer.
The old generators:
Deck Image Generator (http://ftbhrygvn.x10hosting.com/elements/deck/) (Actually a small modification)
Card Image Generator (http://ftbhrygvn.x10hosting.com/elements/card/)
To prevent misunderstandings, the current Deck Image Gen used in the forums is Planplan's work rather than this.

The main concern of this post:
New Deck Code Generator (http://ftbhrygvn.x10hosting.com/elements/code/)

The UI is the main problem here, I need suggestions from the community on how to improve it

Deck Image Generator
Planplan was first and his code has been integrated on the forums. Your version doesn't offer anything new and we really don't need another identical one. This is why all other Deck Image Creators are "banned" from now on, and I might have to start removing links soon.

It's not because I'm mean or anything like that. It's just so that it's less confusing to new users when there are not multiple deck creators all over the place.


Card Image Generator
This looks like it still needs a lot of work so I won't give feedback on it just yet. I would imagine inserting those quantum icons between description will be the tricky part.


New Deck Code Generator
Yeah.. it's not bad.

Problems:
- You cannot see the deck as you build it, only after you submit it.

- takes up WAY too much screen space. You need to make vertical size about 760px max. This way all the laptop users etc. can use it without vertical scrolling. If you REALLY need more space, I wouldn't go past 970px.

- I don't see the need to have all the cards instantly visible. I just makes the thing load a lot longer and looks confusing. You could have a system where you first click a quantum icon which "opens" the cards.

- Cards are in random order. Difficult to find what you are looking for

- Elements Trainer was updated yesterday with a simple "All Cards" button, which leads to a question: is a Deck Code Creator even needed anymore? Trainer does the same thing basically now AND you can test the deck.

1 good news, 2 bad

The good news is after 3 or 4 complete re-dos of my index page, I have made a new ELEMENT selector, the card selector is undergoing heavy construction. I have uploaded it. But this means the bad news is the old "working" version is replaced by this new non-functional version.

Another bad news is I changed my domain name by an accident and changed it back a few hours ago, so the website is down untill the domain is updated.

Actually, I'm going to add a new feature to that. But that's after the code gen finishes

I'm working on the code gen. As you have said, planplan is going for a card gen. Although mine is different, I should work on new things 1st.

That's what I said about the UI. My new layout sloved these.

1. I don't see what this "integration issue" is. Most players know how to use the trainer and it's integrated on the forums.
2. I like Flash. Elements was made with Flash which makes it extra special.
3. "Better" is debatable. The thing is that players know how to use Elements UI. If you use something other than Elements UI, players have to learn how to use it.

Order is same as the game
Then we are playing two different games. For me the order looks pretty random and it's not the same as in game.

By "integration", I mean I can make some cross-generator features because I made all of the generators being "integrated". For example, one will be able to use the Code Gen to get a deck code, then send it to the Deck Image Gen with a click on a button

While I have no doubt that Flash is better at making a GUI, GUI made by PHP is not too bad. But Flash requires much more processing power than PHP. (As far as I know, processing Flash is done by the Flash plugin/extension/add-on/whatever of the browser. But PHP is processed by the server so the processing power of the client is irrelevant) And, as an iPhone user, no Flash for my iPhone is one of my main concerns.

Maybe I missed out "Potentially" there in 3. But the definition of "good" (and thus "better") is up to the user. One more choice is absolutely better than only one currently.

I order the cards by the card code, which is the same as the game. Are you reading top to bottom, left to right?

Code Gen completed, up and running after a number of times of UI redone

Finally have some time for the Card Image but I'll soon be occupied by my school exam and IGCSE...... I have to handle both at the same time. Hope I can finish it quick

Good luck with IGCSE, I remember those. Your school makes you do their in-school exams at the same time?  :o thats torture

Read the instructions. You can click a card image at the bottom to add 1 copy. The number field is there for 5~6 copies of a card, or even more Pillars

I did, but I probably did it wrong, as I dunno if the computer acknowledged it. Are you meant to just click on the symbol of the element?

As long as there is a red border around 1 of the elements, the card back should be able to load.

Also, the card name, cost and type is completed. Image can be consider completed now but I'll do some tweaking after other parts are complete. I know Planplan is reaching his final stage of development but I state clearly for once more: I am not starting or participating in a "code war". I am still going for the Gen because:
1. computer programming is my greatest interest, most probably for life
2. I can make cross-gen features
3. for my iPhone
hundreds more

EDIT: I have just done a complete replacement of the card gen folder with the one in my computer. If the error was caused by old files, it should be gone now. At least I can get an image without any problems.

EDIT: Added description field. Note that descriptions after 4th line are not read. No element icons at the time. I can do the active skill tmr. But inline icons like the ones in pillar need some more human mind processing.

EDIT: Oh! I figured out what caused the error...... I'll fix it a few hours later when I'm back home
