Built In Game Limitations / predictable wins spins loses https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=2832.msg23700#msg23700

While I understand there is an element of randomness to this type of game I can't help be feel like there are some common random events.

I usually win games if they fall within the first 10 rounds. After five - ten rounds I consistently receive poorer hands and do not win even against decks in the top50 that I was easily beating before. I understand the owners of the top50 can change their decks thus changing the difficulty. But this is not the case. Its almost like clockwork that the deck shuffles become worse over a period of time and are generally better when you first begin playing in a given day.

On this same note, if I win a card or two within the first five - ten rounds , I don't win cards again until I've won ten games or worse. Its almost like clockwork. There seems like there is a daily limit, such as you can't win more than 3-5 cards in a 24 period. Again I'm not saying you can't win more cards, but it certainly feels like there is a ceiling.

Touching on this last point. I understand rares are rares, but its seems very odd that a month or two ago when I started playing, I would win rares on a higher frequency. Now it seems that since I own 4-6 weapon rares even if they are not in my deck I can no longer win a weapon rare. I have not owned more than one type of rare weapon either. I'm not saying players don't have more than this. But a rule of this nature could have been implemented and made an exception for players who previously had lots of rares of this nature were grandfathered in.

The Oracle is set to work once in a 24 hour period. This leaves me to believe there are other hidden, limits. These 'random' occurrences are significantly dulling my interest in Elements.

I could be unlucky, but I doubt it.

I agree completely with you. and this is the exact reason I am leaving the game. something has changed on such a large scale as to make it nearly impossible to get cards that really are a must have.

I used to regularly win lobo's, faren', eagle's, pulvy's and even the odd trident. Unfortunately I never got an eternity, which it now seems is one card you cant beat FG's without.

Elements conspiracy. Next you'll be talking about how there were two shooters that day on the grassy knoll. We've all asked zanz a few times, there is nothing of the such. And if there was, why would he keep it hidden? Logical reasoning ftw.

I must say this is one of the best card games I've come across and it's free so really, what is there to complain about.

But I've also experienced that recently it's become more difficult to win rares on spins. With the number of people playing I understand that odds are that there are some people who will experience this purely on a random factor without any changes to the game. So we just might be the unlucky bunch.

But that combined with the more than normal grinding necessary to build an upgraded deck is a bit of a turn off. After weeks of grinding you get tired and start wanting to look elsewhere.

The false gods are difficult to beat on their own, but that combined with the fact that you need to grind endlessly just to get there tires you out.

First let me say I am not making this up.

I started playing this game about 3weeks ago.  I've had over 600games.  I mostly played t50 over and over...Just this week started Grinding FGs.  Before that I had won a couple morning stars and ONE shard from t50s.  Never won anything worth noting from A3.  Anyways, a couple days after i started I got my friend at work playing.  He probably has 200games.  He has won 5shards(not lying), 2eternities, a pulverizer(his weapon was ferenheit), many many other rare cards.  And since we upgraded to FG killer decks.  A couple times he has won TWO cards on his 3spins.  I attribute everything to luck, but that's the problem with this game...my deck is only as good as his because ive played 5x as much. If I was as lucky as he is, shoot i'd have 2 fully upgraded decks by now.
Wish there was a way to balance out the luck factor.

I actually won most of my Lobotomizers on one day ... off one single farm!

I got matched up against him like 4 times and won 3!! Lobos for one game:
Every spin was a win.

I dont remember winning any Lobos eversince in the T50 simply because nobody had a farm up I suppose.

That's slightly, mostly, different. When he played, there was probably a better chance that more farm decks were up in the t50 during that time. Not too many people put up farms, and some people only play farm decks, quitting all other duels in the t50. If you want just as many rares, drop by the chat room sometime and see if any people that are in the t50 would mind putting up a specific farm. The ones I usually see in the chat are rather nice and wouldn't mind putting up a farm at some point.
