I just would to say, that i hate mono time decks when players have a lot o hour Hourglasses, Shards of Gratitude and Eternity and often play with 50 cards deck. Even if i play so long that opponents cards come to the end then he reverse own creatures and this is sick never ending story
Steal, destroy of Eternity often doesn't work because players have a few of them and sometimes put on this weapon Protect Artifact.
Is so many of such decks in Top 50 and game against them is so boring and last so long...
You can revile my opinion but i just hate that...
Are you playing PVP or just Top50? Being it either one, maybe you should start to think whether the real problem isn't the Eternity on the deck your opponent has. Maybe, just maybe, the deck you use doesn't have enough Deflagration/Steal/Pulvy/Butterfly/etc permanent control.
This is my current deck in Top50 (available from Sundays to Tuesdays/Wednesdays, depending other players, I have only 140k score)

Sure, it's almost unbeatable with rush deck, and that's exactly the reason why it's built like that. But if you have even mediocre control deck with enough power to destroy/steal bunch of stuff, you'll easily beat that. And the reward for beating it can be worth it, because 30/60 cards in that deck are rares, another feature I wanted it to have.
