First nymph since January!  Shame it's not a very good one - why would I want I water nymph card when I can just play NT for one less quanta?

I would say because you simply don't lose a pillar or pendulum. A deck with 6 water nymphs and 24 pillars is stronger than a deck with 6 NT and 24 pillars.
