Elements Fantasy League!
So, I can guess that most of us have played Fantasy [Sport] at least once in our lifetime. So why not have a Elements fantasy league for each tourney that lasts a good number of weeks/days (Brawl, War, Trials, etc...)?
The rules would follow something along this line *Note: These rules are subject to change if this idea is well received.
1) Each manager (team owner) will have 6 starters and a max bench size of 4. Max team size then will be 10 players.
1.5) Number of players on a team can be edited based on the number of people in the league
2) Players can be traded from one team to another, any trades are to be reported to the league organizer so he/she can update the rosters.
3) Each player will earn points for their team (point system will be below). Only the starters will be scored for your teams overall score for that week/day. Bench players will still score but will not count towards your teams overall week/day total.
4) Players who were not drafted (at the start of the league) can be picked up if your team has the space. If you have 10 players and want to pick someone up, then you have to drop a player to make room.
5) At the end of the week, the team who's players score is higher is the winner of that match (duh).
6) How long the league will last will be determined by the league organizer as long as it ends before the end of the tourney.
7) Have fun.
Scoring System:
Example Round Any extra rules (types of players, banned players, etc...) can be added by league organizers.
League Organizers: Rules and Tips:
1) League must be at least 4 teams and there is no set maximum.
2) All team names must follow the rules of the forums.
3) At the start of a league there must be a draft where all team managers are present (to give each player a fair chance at a team)
4) This can be done by number of ways. I would make a google doc with all the participants in the tourney's names and just have each member get on and pick. But that's just me. But the league must start with a draft. If a member can not make it, then it will be up to the league organizer to determine his/her fate (i.e. auto draft for that player).
5) Must be active or your league will be disbanded or control will be given to someone else.
6) Don't be a jerk, keep it fair between all people.
I hope this idea is well liked enough to make this be a real thing. Any feedback is accepted and will be taken into consideration in the youth of this idea.
Notable changes:
1) League organizers can take part in their own league. Although they will have the responsibility of looking after the league and their team.
2) There will be three positions of staff that look over all leagues; Commissioner: overall leader of the EFL, Asst. Commissioner: Is commissioner when the actual one is not on and the Score Keeper: His/Her main job is to keep track of matches and report scores to the commissioner or asst. commissioner. (The commish and asst. commish will also partake in this if the score keeper is not on).
3) Players partaking in the event can not partake in the fantasy league. This is so the player's focus can stay solely on the event.
THANKS! Bacon
