Elements annual reunion day

Elements reunion day will happen 10# may every year. Same as Elements birtday.

I've been thinking about this for like a year and want to put it out there.

We really should have more special days. We do have elements annual birthday but that's pretty much it. There should be a pvp day where people that are interested in pvp 1 or 2 play. Like once every week/month/ or hour of day. To gather up the people that actually wants to pvp, because now it takes forever to find someone.

We also really should have a Annual reunion day when all active and none active members meet up in chat for a 24 hour period. Just for fun and chatting. A lot of none active or semi active people pops in in chat every now and then just to check things. But it's a lot more fun if there's actually some activity in chat and someone you know from way back also is there. It could be a fun way to meet up with people you otherwise would never see, maybe perhaps even never again.

My tip is to have this day the same day as Elements birthday or the same day as war applications are taken. It's a good way to lure some oldies to join. But it's really up to the council to choose something like this.

And the easiest way to market this is to send pm's like 2-3 times before it happens. 1 month before, 1 week before and the say day, or even 6 months before. Also post in newsletter and facebook. But really the most important thing is to talk to community members who aren't active anymore. I know a lot of people who talk with unactive members outside of this forum.

It will. But if people talk with all the people they know about this, they might in turn talk to the people they know etc etc. So considering we can pick any date we want, we got all the time we need to spread the word to a lot of people.

I put a pool up so council can see how much we want this.

Very much so. Apparently he logged in on March 1st but afaik Council has heard anything from him and he hasn't done anything with the Social Networks in about a year. We're working on reworking the position a bit, adding additional responsibilities so it has a more integral role in the community.

This is a cool idea but umm how would you get the inactive members?
