The Case for Light
While xdude, the Master of Light, has not yet posted, I will try my own hand in summarising the case supporting
.
Under most circumstances, (
when not applied improperly), Light is a foremost and inherent supporter of Good, which by and in itself merits substantial praise. The angelic, the righteous, the good and those who bless and exalt and heal are proudly considered to be proponents of Light.
Then in the practical domain of cards themselves:
1) Light's weapon is immaterial and the heaviest dealer of damage among all the weapons in the game.
2) Excellent creatures, all of whom can be employed to excellent effect.
2a) The Photon, a very inexpensively deployed creature which, when upgraded can produce Light quanta and can be a perfect target for buffs.
2b) The Pegasus, which, when exalted, delivers a very fearsome dive attack.
2c) The Golden Dragon, a very good strong-in-all-realms 10/10 creature.
3) A Flexible buffing card, the Blessing.
4) An under many circumstances irreplaceable healing card, Miracle, and arguably the best in the game.
5) An immaterial shield, Hope, which can be deployed to great effect when used in conjunction with light emitting creatures.
6) A Holy Light healing card which can serve another effective purpose in rounds against Death or Darkness.
7) Pure brilliant awesomeness; a totally indisputable point.
