I voted for the same three that I put as my favoured elements in my war application.   :time :entropy :air

:time Hourglass is one of the best cards in the game, being the best and one of the only sources of pure card advantage.  Ghosts are one of the most efficient creatures, Eternity can grant a near-lockdown, particularly against the dumb AI, and it has good utility cards like sundial or rewind.

:entropy Entropy has a lot of unique cards.  Nova is awesome.  Maxwell's and the nymph are good CC, and werewolf is an awesome creature.  Butterfly effect gives it access to PC, and although it's the weakest PC card, most elements don't even have one at all.  And Discord... I love Discord :D\

:air When I first started playing Elements, I thought Air was a crappy element, maybe even the worst.  However, since then, I've had a lot of success with monoair in tournaments, and I have revised my opinion on Air.  Eagle's Eye is incredible CC, and Sky Dragon is probably the best dragon in the game.  (although light and fire also have really good ones)  Wings and fog are good shields.  If EE isn't enough, you have shockwave and thunderstorm for more CC, and damselflies and wyrms are also very nice creatures.

My favourite card, though, is from none of these elements.  Mindgate is my favourite card, but a lot of the rest of aether isn't really that exciting to me.  Aether has some very nice cards, but mindgate is the only fun one.

 :darkness :entropy :water
i have aspects of these in real life, and they represent me very well.
even though atm, it would seem i like time alot, but i dont. i just like  :time shard+egg.(imo is just a  :time version of   :entropy in regards to randomness, chance luck and 'fate")

Darkness, Death, Entropy. Though the only one I am really sold on is  :darkness

Seriously how does Darkness have such few votes? Darkness has all the staples, creature control, permanent control, healing, stalling, quanta denial, draw denial, damage. It also has so many crazy unique cards like Voodoo Doll and Cloak. Darkness monos incredibly well, and it has so many different synergies with every element. Plus all of it's cards are so stylish.

intersting post here. Also you forgot to mention pufferfish in water, it also put poison counter, but I guess you were just not talking about upped cards.
Correct (not to mention Pufferfish plays differently from Toadfish).  I also forgot to include Lobotmizer for Aether, but I highly doubt I need to describe that one.

:darkness and  :death, they work well as mono decks and even better as duos.

Voted for :light first, yay healing and ownage even without control.

Second would be :entropy with two of my favorite cards - Butterfly Effect and Maxwell's Demon, each of which counters so many decks.

I decided to use my third vote on :aether because I really like the way the cards look.

:entropy, since it's random and I just love it, :death, because it has some useful decks that I use (I just plain like it too), and :darkness because of its sneaky nature and great cards.
