Recently I farmed bronze league in Arena and my opponent was a guy, forgot the nick ofc, and I was like... WTF? He had more upped cards than I did, and all of his pilars were upped as well. Not just that, he had an upped version (maybe more than 1) of SoV. The only thing that comes to my mind was that he intentionaly lost like 2000 games vs AI-2 just to drop his level bellow 20. I can see the sadistic satisfaction of the act, but is it really worth it? And, yea - I won that game.

Somebody was saying that people who used to farm FG's as new players some time ago have very low scores...and thus low arena levels.  Score didn't really matter back then, so losing 70% of your games wasn't a problem.  That's somewhat true of mine, I lost a lot of games to FGs and never paid attention to my score...fortunately when I came back to the game it was high enough for Silver (though just barely)

Not that I have that many upped cards to show for that grinding...plenty of quantum towers though!  ;D

Liquid AM has been known to reduce score to negative number. So it's entirely plausible.
Though, just a little farming on AI3 and Plat will increase your score back.

Before arena, back in the good ol days, the only way to get upped cards effectivly was to farm FGs with a 20-30% win rate. That would lower your score like crazy. Add to that, the only way to farm rares before the arena was this thing called t50. In t50, people would just keep autoquitting until they found "farm decks" long story short, the time of low score.

Those are the Mono Aether winrates or what? Nothing had such a low winrate since the SGbow...

This is how I have 2000 more losses than wins. The funny part is that it actually earned me money.

For some people (e.g. me), they started farming FGs with partially upped decks, which have such winrates.

I never had my score that low though, even though I mostly did FG farming.

On a related note, my win/loss ratio is finally nearing 1:1 for the first time since...I first started, I think, thanks to farming silver and some bronze.

yeah, many people would start off with SGs almost unupped FG farmer which had a pretty crappy winrate

do losses drop your level???  Can't be.   I have 8250 losses & only 5250 wins and I'm level 68.

Depending on who you lose to, your score loss is different.

Losses by themselves do not, no.  However, losing causes you to lose score which can drop your level.  The amount of score lost/gained depends on what opponent you face during your free time.
