What I've noticed is that there is a metagame not only between elements, but between four types of decks:
1.) Domin > Rush (Domins are able to balance offense and defense to gain a tempo over the enemy and do more damage than they do)
2.) Rush > Quantum Denial (Rushes have lots of quantum to get their creatures out early in the game, as well as cards like nova and immolation)
3.) Quantum Denial > Deckouts (Deckouts have higher QIs because their decks play slower, thus they are more vulnerable to denial)
4.) Deckout > Domin (Against a deckout, the defensive cards in a Domin have no use, which means Domins will often lack the offensive power to break a stall)
There are exceptions, of course. For example, reverse time denial is more effective on rushes than stalls. However, I've noticed that this metagame seems to be true more often than not.
