Card Tier List-Nymphs

Alright, here is my tier list for Elements Weapons. Doing a tier list for a game like Elements is difficult. Some cards, while terrible on their own, may synchronize greatly with other cards. This list is based on unupgraded Nymphs. Disclaimer; this list is NOT for beginners nor should it influence deck building. This is purely for discussion purposes. I will be breaking down the rating system into several different aspects, in order of importance they are;

• Nymphs Ability
• Nymphs Cost and Ability Cost
• Nymphs attack and health

S Tier

Nymph Queen can spawn other nymphs. ANY other nymph. With that power, that makes Nymph Queen one of the best.
Blue Nymph is a win condition all on its own. It offers direct damage as well as CC control.

A Tier

Green nymphs adrenaline ability makes it VERY good in decks with low atk creatures and can make 'okay' decks great.
Auburn nymph can stall your opponents creatures as well as give yours an HP boost. Making it a great defensive support card

B Tier

Golden nymph will allow you to draw through your cards as well as see your opponents cards. It has a decent atk but sometimes, other cards can be a better replacement.
Grey Nymph is one of Deaths strongest attackers. Its ability can fill up your opponents field and synchronize with many other Death cards.

C Tier

Red Nymphs offer both an attack boost to creatures with high HP and instant death for creatures with low HP. Making it a great offensive support card.
Purple Nymph has an amazing ability but at a high cost. It can make your opponents big hitters suddenly become big healers.
Amber nymph offers unlimited black holes. That means it can constantly shut down your opponent and their strategy, especially when multiple are on the field.

D Tier

Black nymphs vampire ability can be played on your own creatures for a quick heal or the opponents creature for a nice poison effect
Light Nymph is a strong attacker and defender as well as a constant healer. Its bioluminescence skill is not usually usefull but can be in unupped decks utilizing Hope.

F Tier

Turquoise nymph defends against CC, but if your opponent has CC, Turquoise nymph will most likely be dead before it can use its skill.

I think Light Nymphs are better than that. Of course, it depends on the ruleset. I feel the same about Black, too, it can be
devastating against "skilled" creatures, for example Nymphs. Amber should be lower. Let's say you spawn 3 Nymphs
to quanta deny your opponent. Means you draw 9 quanta from opponent per turn, and by the time
you create that 3 Nymphs, it doesn't really matter against a good mono/duo deck. A simple DBH is a much better choice.
(Which can of course use Amber Nymphs if you are really wealthy.)

Death D -> C and Aether C -> D

Death nymphs offer powerful control that synergises well with other death cards, while maintaining great stats. Totally viable in pvp.

Aether nymph is only really usable in a mono, but quint support is something monoaether doesn't need, since they have immortal and phase dragon. The first turn vulnerability means that against a deck where quint would be useful (something with decent CC), your nymph will probably be killed before it can use the ability.

I kinda feel sorry for light nymph. It's good in stalls, especially if you want unupped RoL-hope. Big light decks can afford to cast its ability every turn, and the healing really adds up. It's more usable in unupped pvp than the likes of dark nymph imo, not to mention light nymph's glorious atk|hp

I still believe Black Nymph is an OK Lobotomizer for Darkness, especially when considering Phoenixes...

These are the planned market costs for nymphs in war:
blue nymph 135
auburn nymph 100
nymph queen 95
grey nymph 90
golden nymph 85
purple/green/red/light 55
amber/black/turquoise 45

Nymphs are not cards your opponents will allow to stay alive. If your opponent has a lightning bolt and can kill a nymph with it, he probably will. Nymphs with 5 hitpoints or less are likely to be in danger and you cannot count on their ability being used at all. For this reason the nymph ability cannot always be the number 1 priority at all times.

Nymph queen can also be placed in A instead of S. Certain shields like gravity shield and dim shield counter the card. Another issue is that it competes with nymphs tears, which costs 1 quanta less.

Amber nymph is often considered one of the weakest nymphs, if not the weakest. Discord Black Hole tries to prevent the opponent from playing any spells and if you replace black holes with amber nymph you will just be too late.
If you can cast an amber nymph, the opponent usually has cast the cards it wants to cast. Amber nymph also dies easily with just 3 hitpoints. Amber nymph is valuable in the upgraded meta as part of Swallow however.

The first rule was that ratings are based on the ability of the nymph. If your opponent has CC in hand, aether nymph dies on the spot. If your opponent doesn't have cc at all, the ability is useless (except for using the shard). In most cases the ability doesn't seem to do much. For this reason Aether Nymph belongs in a lower tier than the C tier it is in now.

Grey nymph and golden nymph are underrated. They should be in A or B. Id rather play a 7/8 grey nymph with a nice ability for 8 than a 10/5 dragon for 10. You can choose to kill the cell by casting alfatoxin on it so it wont copy itself.
A nice bonus feature of grey nymph is that phoenixes die to the ability without having an option to respawn.
Grey nymph and golden nymph are cards that offer a lot of damage on top of their abilities. 

Fire nymph is not really an offensive support card. All fire creatures have low HP except for the nymph. Its a card that is mostly used for killing creatures.
It is still better than entropy nymph. Entropy nymph doesn't kill creatures, meaning the problem isn't always solved. Entropy nymph also dies easily.

I can say a lot more about the nymphs, but lets start with this.

I think that all four of your ranking criteria are correct, but I'm not sure that creating a priority list is the right approach. For example, if I could play a nymph that had no ability, cost 16 quanta and had stats of 499/499 it would create a tier above S.

I think if you start your ranking with the strength of a nymphs ability, but then modify that ranking based on cost to damage ratio and HP thresholds you are more likely to get an accurate rating. For example, Purple nymphs has an exceptional ability, but I would downgrade it`s ranking due to both the cost of the nymph, the cost of it`s ability and it`s low HP which make is highly unsurvivable.

Spoiler for HP Threshold Concept:

Nymphs with 2HP die to almost anything and are less effective as a result	Downgrade their tier by 1-2
Nymphs with 3HP are still highly vulnerable to CC are often cannot use their ability	Consider downgrading their tier by 1
Nymphs with 4HP survive most AOE CC, which is a great starting point.	This is normal - no change
Nymphs with 6+HP survive almost any single use CC card	This is what you hope for, increase their tier by 1
