Do you want Shards to be allowed?

I have decided to gather feedback on every organized PvP instance with regards to whether you want Shards to be allowed in them or not.
The general opinion of the community -can- come to change future decisions when it comes to this, and I may reset the poll after certain events such as a League season being over or a new year starting.

There is no third option in these polls. There is no fence-sitting. It's pointless for the purpose of the poll.
If you want a War to run with Shards once for testing, or with heavy restrictions, you vote yes. If you want some Tournaments or PvP Events to have Shards, you vote yes. Etc.

I voted for everything for leagues which I didn't join for reasons different than just shards, and definitely voted no for just about everything else.
In fact, I would for any event I would ever attend, the shards in their current form are just not balanced. It's not that they can't be countered, just that a single one can make or break an entire match. I don't like them or their impact on deckchoices, so prefer seeing them banned anywhere where possible. The one true unrestricted pvp: pvp2, shall always be there (I hope) for anyone to play any card.

For individual pvp Events... I think they can be allowed and voted yes, as long as they are generally banned and only left unbanned when there is a very good (thematic) reason.

It did not end, nor did it begin. It wasn't organized properly. You may talk to majofa if you have a PvP Event idea you want to co-manage with him, but it will not be called War. Might be just as fun though ^^

I voted "YES" on all options.  Reading carefully what Higs posted you'll notice yes = all manners of allowance (restricted, unrestricted, varying levels of restriction, etc) and no = no usage period at all.  I think most all events could be at least attempted to work them in somehow.  I mean, the shard cards are IN the game, just the same as Dim's, Nova, Fractal, and Psion are very much 'meta' changers if you know they are/are not coming against you.

TorB - notice that WC allowed shards in a limited manner.  A "no" vote here would be against such allowance / usage in future events.  A "yes" is NOT equivalent, as I read this poll, to totally unrestricted and unbridled shard-ness.

I agree with rob. Having a few tourneys and events where shards are incorporated I have nothing against, and same for trying with it with War once.

I'd like to say that given that Masters are supposed to lead teams into War, that Trials should follow the same rules regarding shards as war. It makes little sense for a Master to use shards to win when they don't play a role in War itself.

TorB - notice that WC allowed shards in a limited manner.  A "no" vote here would be against such allowance / usage in future events.  A "yes" is NOT equivalent, as I read this poll, to totally unrestricted and unbridled shard-ness. 

Indeed it does, and I did not like shards in them at all. The only reason I used them is because I'd have been a fool not to use the full arsenal at my disposal: doesn't mean I have to like it.
I don't want to look out for how much damage I do when opponent has even a single death quanta in case of SoSac or have PC in every deck in case of SoP.

Trials and War are connected, but not the same thing. Trials consist 100% of single player vs. single player. This has an impact on what meta you would prefer.

Similarly, different restrictions can be applied on Trials compared to War. It might be fair to, for instance, say that War can allow 2 Shards max in a deck with 6 max in vault, whereas allowing the same thing in Trials would have a much bigger impact.

Those sound like deckbuilding and in-game playing decisions and strategizing, though.  ??  I get that opinion is just that and I certainly didn't mean to come across as thinking your's are "wrong" in any way.  I do not think that.  I mostly just wanted to put it out there that clicking "no" and "yes" have slightly deeper meanings in this poll than simply black-and-white.    (I think I made/used 1 or 2 decks TOTAL so far in WC that used shards at all! :/ )

I don't believe i ever used shards and i did fine until i derped in round 2 i think i put three sobe i one deck and they never showed so never did again
