Do noobs get better spins?

When I first started going for the False Gods, starting with just a couple upgraded cards, I would lose a lot but when I won I got cards on a pretty regular basis. But recently with my fully upgraded deck my card winning rate has dropped off alot, aside from the FGs getting smarter and winning more, my percentage of winning spins is just really low.

I haven't kept statistics and its possible I'm just making up the pattern because that's what we humans do, but I wonder if there is any mechanism that weights the slots in favor of newbies, which I would say is a good idea, or the chances of winning a card have gone down across the board, which would kind of suck. Or have do I just have rotten luck? Anyone else seeing similar or different things?

I agree, which is why I am hesitant to go into conspiracy theory zanz is picking on me mode. I think I will keep the stats, it will be interesting. So since I made this topic two games won, 6 spins and no cards, so my theory, that I have been excluded from the exclusive ranks of card winning members, is working out just fine.

If I get really into the stats, I'll even make a new account and see if the percentages are any different. Don't hold your breath though.

Probably, when i started the top50 i got alot of good cards, now i just get stuff like Photons and other bad things.

My friend that started the game a week ago already has 3 nymphs, while I just got my first today. but then that could be all random

when i started i gained A LOT of cards.. then I had a huge (100-200 game) bad luck run.. now I'm again winning like crazy.. so I think it's random..

um... i doubt zanz would go to such lengths. not to mention, i got all my good spins later on.

I think I noticed this in Oracle Spins. I'm at 40k score (not great, but not a noob) and the best card I have won from the oracle is a burning pillar. Every noob I see on Kongregate asks if nymphs are good, because they always want to sell them (909 electrum). I've spun every day since the thingy went exclusive (not beta) and no nymphs yet.

All it is is randomness. I have 110k score and have gotten 2 nymphs, so....

That means you're a noob Puppy.  So am I since I have 2 nymphs as well.

I think everyone will be happy if we classify people with nymphs as noobs and people without nymphs as pros. Am I right?

I actually have a nymph so no complaints in that direction, though a second one would be great. Meanwhile I have one card from the 8 games (yeah I don't play 24-7) I've won against FGs since I started keeping count. Won a few from Top 50, but not counting those. Not sure how that compares but I do remember a point in time when it seemed like I just had to win and I was practically guaranteed a card. Ahhh, the golden past.

Well all the anecdotes say its all luck. I just wish it would swing my way.

um... jumba, this thread hasnt gotten a straight answer yet. you cant start classifying people as noobs because they have a nymph, even then, there is still a chance a pro can get a nymph, even if this thread is right. im pretty certain jm has a few nymphs, and hes one of the least noobish players there is so far.
