That's the person ranked 58th not having played a single match.

Gold, Silver and Bronze all seem normal.

I noticed this earlier as the deck I just submitted immediately went #80. I have no idea.

I'd say the standard is dropping so more people are getting lower ranks. It also explains for the 0-4 decks being kicked out as opposed to 0-3 or 0-2 of what it used to be. It's not about activity, it's about standard.

On the flip side, chances are Platinum is an awful lot more rewarding to grind now than before.

This has happened before as the rankings adjust to changes in winrate, and zanz has had to manually fix it before. The worst that it's ever gone askew was when winning a game gained you -4 rating. The way it is now may very well fix itself.

Well, I've certainly encountered 2 abnormal decks today.  I know some people put up farms, but today is the first time I've actually played against one.  And I've just played against a deck that evidently consisted of nothing but the Oracle card and Quantum Towers.

So I wonder if there's an increase of people putting up decks which are designed to lose.

As of now, rating 0 decks are ranking around 120th, so things are getting in place, just a statistical fluctuation I guess.
