My arena-farming deck has 2 main weaknesses: Pests early (:darkness) and uber poison spam early (:death). If I get stalled a lot and the game goes on a while, Momentum is a weakness (:gravity) but my deck is fast enough this usually doesn't happen.

Darkness is complete. Like Fire is. That's why they are strong and popular.

Death is only good because of the SoSa/Poison combo. Without SoSa, it's a "normal" element. With it, it's top tier. It's so often a water/death deck in top of platinium...
Death was often at the top of bronze and silver before SoSa because Death had the ability to field really powerful mono rushes.

What he said death isn't complete but is very close to be. Death have no PC but Poison can kill through a shield and his own shield can't be dstroyed by PC. Death can Stall hard or kill quickly.
For darkness Willng explained it but before SoSa I was 3 time first in plat with monodeath and twice first in silver with my alt with monodeath too (rush versions every time)
