Well, this has bothered me for a while, but I guess I'll open a discussion on it now.  Why is it that a Pillar of a particular element costs 4 Electrum, and yet a Pendulum of that same element costs 16 Electrum?  Granted the amount is still much less than that of say a Dragon, but why exactly does it cost 4 times that of a Pillar when it provides nearly the same effect?  I could even understand twice the amount due it potentially producing two different types of quanta, but 4 just doesn't make sense to me.  Thoughts or explanations anyone?

Because they give 2 different quanta. That, in itself, is a pretty big thing for this game, so of course it would be much more costly in comparison.

I've always thought the cost of buying unupped cards in the bazaar was almost negligible.  You can get a good deck simply by selling your starter.

i agree that the cost is low to negligibility.

but if a change makes it feel better for the game, then a change should be made.

honestly i agree. twice as much as a pillar, maybe. 4 times, i don't get it.

if it's special that it makes two kinds of quanta, and that allows it to earn its high cost, then our quantum pillars should be much more expensive.

That brings a good point quatum pillars produce 3 quatums.

Everyone, go invest all your electrums into quantum pillars, I have a feeling Zanz will raise its price very soon.

lol 0.o

I didn't really get it either, but I guess it sort of makes sense.

I mean, if you look at a deck with pendulums and a deck without, pendulums make it run much smoother.

The cost is effectively negligible, but putting in pendulums makes such a difference that it deserves to cost more than pillars.
