I think it might be worth mentioning both to you crockett and z this is heading headlong into a flame war for which neither of you will enjoy. Yes the community likes a bit of drama but this thread was by my understanding created to try and avoid this kind of thing we all have members we can't stand whether the personalities clash or just plain dislike but what is necessary is that we try to find ways to move on from it how we choose to do that is up to us. Reigniting old drama is not good for the community as a whole. I'd be lying if I said I was innocent at reigniting my old drama but I have moved on to a certain extent. Can bring this back to the topic at hand now while keeping old drama out of it the best we can.

@ Crockett - We have resolved this issue already weeks ago. I will not be discussing it further on a personal level. This thread is about fostering community openness on a global scale and a flame war on this thread over old drama is not going to solve that.

I didn't even try to get it into a flamewar. I posted my thoughts and used examples. If my thoughts didn't answer the questions, well, read my first sentence. >.>. I still NEVER got a clear answer as to what the question(s) is/are. (I was looking for a *text question mark* format.) It was Zblader who responded in half a post to reply directly to me and I made a small little post with my point being "I can prove it so don't tell me I'm wrong."

Anyway yeah those are my thoughts on the community, assuming the grand question was "what are your thoughts on the community"

Sidenote(about War 8 and other issues): I agree that more transparency would be a good idea in general. In the past there was a deeper trust in the community which allowed less transparency to be needed. Higs provided more than the level of transparency that would have been expected back in my day*. However due to the changes, this was less transparent than is currently expected.

*Being more open than the expectation is a good way to diffuse conflict. Basically it is like volunteering to make a minor surrender in order to avoid the mutual cost of conflict.

Even in a thread about needing better communication, their is failed communication, trolling, and flaming. I think we can all agree that this is a pretty big problem around here.
