And people think I'm stupid when I tell them to use upped Hopes...!  :)) -1 quanta cost is not worth -1 damage absorption in 99% of cases.

If I ever didn't believe I do now XD I only just made the deck though, and am having some bad luck with it - that's why they aren't upped.

Well, hope is probably the last card I'd up while working on fully upping the deck, but I'd recommend it after doing everything else first.  Some people leave it unupped even if they have upped ones, which I think is a mistake.

One of the biggest problems in a RoL/Hope deck is deck clog, and the most annoying thing to clog the deck is extra hopes (since they're useless after the first one).  So keeping them unupped is the best plan.  In the snapshot, Izaya couldve actually played the hope in his hand before fractalling, which would've given him an extra RoL, so the whole idea of upping hope to save him in that situation is nonsense  :P
