Here, you can post any of your amazing close call(s) (almost lost, but won at the last second) along with any amazing screenshots you took.

Main idea is to see all the different playing strategies to get yourself out of those tight spots.

My Close Call(s):  Won on the last turn against PL deck with a ton of purple nymphs added to a speedbow. How? I quinted 2 lava golems and grew them. I waited until the last turn, played 2 antimatters on opponent's strongest creatures (a 13/7 golem and a spider), played ffq, then fractal'd opponent's golem. I had 41 fire quanta (just enough to play 8 golems). The AI had 2 unfrozen nymphs (I had to wait a while so I would have enough antimatters in hand to occupy his nymphs for at least 1 turn) and one of them un-antimattered their golem, the other antimattered my 7/1 golem. I won by about 60 dmg, but didnt have what I needed until the last turn, so I was more afraid of a deck-out.

Unfortunately I don't have a screenshot as it happened a while ago. Doesn't matter really cause it wouldn't even add that much to the story. I was playing in Arena (silver league) with JMZ classic, facing an immorush. We both got down to 30~HP or so quite fast, and I was going to die the very next turn while I only lacked 2 dmg to finish him off. Golem's Growth and FFQ's Firefly abilities already had been used so not much help from there. I had Steal and Maxwell's in hand, but only 3 Entropy quanta so couldn't play it.

The opponent didn't have anything Steal-worthy so I was pretty sure I had lost. I thought there wasn't anything I could do to win, but then I realized I could Steal stuff from my OWN field too. The single most amazing thing during my short elements career happened, I stole my own Quantum Tower and it gave me the 2 Entropy Quanta I needed to play the Maxwell.

That's certainly the closest call ever for me. :)

Another quite lucky one. I was playing Flay'Em a while ago and usually Serket is a piece of cake. This time I didn't get any Dimensional Shields at all so the poison racked up fast. Luckily I did get a Fractal which led me to victory. Fractaling Lava Golem was out of the question due to lack of  :fire quanta so obvious choice was Deathstalker. I didn't even realize I was going to win until this turn and decided to take a screenie. He got a taste of his own medicine with the poison. ;)

From my point of view.
Odii Odsen and I were in our 3rd game for our BL match. Both using poison. In the second turn he throws three lightnings at me, turning the match from an almost certain victory to defeat for me.

Today I was playing against Miracle with Upped Fast-Draw False God Killer. I had a bad draw and didn't get any Phase Shields during the first few turns. I was on the verge of losing with 4 Aether quanta and plenty of Time quanta. Hourglass gave me a SoG and I got a streak of incredible luck. The 3 HP what SoG granted me would leave me with 1HP if Miracle wouldn't play any creatures during his turn. This is where it gets funny. I played the SoG and it left Aether quanta untouched (if even 1 Aether quanta had been used, I would have lost cause my Pendulums were generating Time quanta). Miracle didn't play anything but a Tower and my mark gave me the 5th Aether quanta I needed. I was with 1 HP and needed to get a Phase Shield. The draw at the beginning of my turn gave me a Time Tower so no luck there. Only the 2nd Hourglass gave me the Phase Shield which saved my ass. After that no problems arised, and Miracle went down. Sometimes the RNG just loves you.  :P

Unfortunately you don't get quanta from stealing your own stuff :S I had that idea too one time and tried it out of desperation, but failed.

Perhaps in an earlier version though.

I seem to remember pulling a stunt like that way back in the day, so I think it might have been possible at one time.  Don't hold me to that, though.
If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.

Yeah, I don't want to accuse or anything, :P

Anyway, I was using a mutation + CP + TU deck, and ended up with a 25/x Skeleton with dive. While I was at 6 hp. I never actually got to use dive, since I won that turn but it was pretty cool, lol.

An before someone tells me that's impossible, it's not when you combo TU and CP.

Don't have a pic, but today I was facing a fahrenheit deck in the arena.  I was using a modification of the instosis deck; point is I didn't have anything to stop the fahrenheit damage.  Second to last turn: opponent has 69 fire quanta, 9 fire pillars, 2x fire mark, unupped fahrenheit; I have 20 HP.  He attacks (no extra bolts, creatures).  I'm left at 1 HP and win next turn.  Quanta cap FTW!

Well, they did say it was the Arena and JMZ, so I think we can call that particular story debunked.
