You see that giant "YOUR MARK" button in the Your Deck screen?  Perhaps looking at it wouldn't be such a horrible idea, and may save you some coin.

I've beaten Decay with a Fire Mark'd CCYB. All the devourers did was soak up the fire quanta I already had a lot of.

I do this quite frequently...I just don't hesitate to get things done, ever.  At least you might see it the first time and change it immediately after.  Me, I spend the whole duel thinking, "Gee...I'm pretty slow today..." then halfway through the duel notice I have a random source of fire/earth quantum emanating and look at my mark to notice my blunder.  And the saddest thing about this?  Most of the time I have this happen and forget to change it again immediately afterwards...can you say FAIL?

I do something very similar to this. I'm playing an FG, doo doo dah...hey, why don't I have 2 Entropy yet? My Supernovas are waiting. Is there a Pest on the field? *checks* Nope. Hmmm...wait, why the - damit! I forgot to change my mark again! *complains in chat about forgetting to change mark* After I get my ass whooped, I'm still complaining. Finally, I stop, and I got back to FG farming....yup, forgot to change mark again.
