Well, that's not true.  When I started this game, jmizzle7 was a demigod to me, with a massive 350,000 points and every card in the game at his disposal.  Today, at least in terms of points, I've easily outstripped him (and we both have a complete card collection, so that doesn't count.)

People will eventually do the same to me -- it's just a question of how badly you want to be on top. :)
If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.

Don't despair, mightydrunken.  You've found the forums -- that's the first clue step.  Now, read this (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,23099.0.html) and start kicking the butt of 1 FG/day and earning an upgraded card on average every other day.
This is by far one of the best choices you have.

"Brilliant minds" can keep themselves busy with the community and show their "brilliance" with the trainer. You don't have to get bored if you don't want to.

If you're bored, then don't play with decks that require little strategy.  Try picking one that requires lot of thought and decision-making midgame.
