Can't search the forum

Without the ability to search the forum to see if a topic has been discussed already I've got no choice but to ask questions that were already answered.

I came here looking for a discussion on how to beat a FG I've continually had problems with, Eternal Phoenix.  The wiki does not have a good suggestion on how to beat him reliably.

Seriously though, the forums are nearly useless for me if I can't search them.  Why have the search box there if I can't use it?  And if I need to do something (post 100 times?) to use it TELL ME THAT when I get the message that I can't search.

There is an option in the search bar called "Google" that allows you to search this forum using Google - the forum search itself is a little wonky and it's being addressed, so please try to be patient.
