I can *only* beat rainbow by decking him out!

You need Bone Wall beefed up because of the dozens or so steals and explosions he has. And if you have 20+ bone walls he will attack it mercilessly with those cards ignoring everything else you have on the board.

Really? I've seen him put down ~10 hourglasses. Could never steal all of those and need steals for his Eagle Eyes.

Though I have- on occasion- stolen a glass if I didn't draw one of my own.

Ahh - I tend to steal his hourglasses.
It's awesome.
Without hourglasses, he goes from a mighty beast to a mewling kitten.  The best part? Do it early and he probably won't GET another set of hourglasses.  If you get steals and eternity early on, you are set.

Yes.  Rainbow sometimes decks himself out, unprovoked (VERY rarely, don't hold your breath).

"The trick is in Bone Wall" should read "The trick is in Bone Wall + Devour." Why Devour? Because the effect is both instant (infection is far too slow) and sustainable, unlike spell cards. There are cases where Rain of Fire/upgrade will be enough, but there are also a lot where creatures just end up overwhelming your Bone Walls either since you ran out or since you were forced to hold one too long, and of course Rain of Fire is just plain bad as your only creature control against the gods with higher HP creatures.

He goes crazy with Hourglasses if you give him time. But sometimes he gets a bad draw and has only 1-2 Hourglasses early in the game. If you steal those it's like cutting of his arms and you'll get easy victory.

That being said, I almost never steal Hourglasses and save my Steals for his Eagle's Eye.

I would imagine Pulverizer with Protect Artifact would be amazing against Rainbow. Just destroy all his Hourglasses and gg.

I've only been able to deck out Rainbow, since they have so many more cards than me and I don't have an Eternity. =/

When I first started farming gods I'd only ever beat miracle by decking him/her out.  It can also be done with fire queen and I imagine most if not all others as well.

The trick is in Bone wall.

They key card is bone wall. Devour is the best choice to keep the key card going. Can be done fine with some flying eagle eyes + FFQ + yards.

I've decked only Rainbow so far - if I leave his hourglasses.

If you have a disipation shield deck, but add a photon, several time machines and eternity, you should be able to (in theory) deck out a god, as long as they don't overwelm your shields. Is there even one god that won't do more then 60 or so damage a turn on the late turns?
